As the name suggests the Sea Jay Creek Masta range is the perfect fishing boat for mastering creeks, estuaries, rivers and the fresh water impoundments; the range is available in sizes between 3.5m and 3.98m and comes standard with high sides. The hull is standard in aluminium finish but painting and vinyl wrapping is an option.
Boasting beams between 1.53m and 1.89m and built on the popular Nomad hull, they are an extremely stable boat at rest; this is one of their attractions. The forward part casting platform provides a stable platform for flicking a lure, throwing a cast net or setting a crab pot. Underneath the cast platform is a generous storage area for safety gear, tackle or a battery if an electric motor is fitted to the electric motor pad that is a standard feature on this hull.
The part floor between the thwart (bench) seats in the Sea Jay Creek Masta allows you to move around the boat with confidence and is great underfoot or when working on a crab pot or handling a fish.
On the starboard side of the boat between the seats is a side pocket that provides you storage for small items such as wallets, phones, keys, knives, measuring stick, spare hat and sunscreen etc. On top of this pocket is a sounder mount plate which is perfect place for a sounder/fish finder or to mount a RAM bracket base if a larger unit is what you desire. The transducer for any sounder fitted also has a mounting bracket on the transom, this bracket limits the holes penetrated in the hull.
Transom side of the rear seat is a carpeted rack which is a perfect place to place the fuel tank and marine battery. This rack doubles as a place to step when entering the boat over the transom.
